Highways Director says reduced budget has impacted how roadworks are carried out
Funding cuts mean work on the Island's roads has to be focussed on maintenance rather than new projects.
That's from the Highways Director and Deputy Chief Officer at the Department of Infrastructure Jeff Robinson.
Priorities for the Highways Division include constructing a new roundabout at Ballasalla and resurfacing work at Santon.
However, Mr Robinson says a reduced budget has changed the way roadworks are carried out:
