Community support appreciated by family
The family of a Laxey man say they have been ‘incredibly touched’ by the community support they’ve received following the 27-year-old’s funeral.
Fraser Vaughan passed away suddenly at the end of last year, while on holiday with his girlfriend in Costa Rica.
He had been a keen footballer, playing for both Laxey and Corinthians and was known by many as the ‘gentle giant’.
Hundreds attended a service in his memory at Christ Church in the village on Friday (31 January).
The family has set up a memorial fund to raise money for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) in Fraser’s name and have thanked everyone for their continued support.
