Further coastal overtopping warning in force today

Strong winds and high waves expected

Another yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping is in place for parts of the Isle of Man this morning (2 January).

The notice comes into force at 8.30am and will remain until at least 12.30pm this afternoon.

Shore Road in Rushen, Castletown Promenade, central and northern ends of Douglas Promenade and Laxey Promenade are expected to be affected.

Ronaldway Met Office says strong winds and high waves could bring water and small debris onto exposed roads.
