More to come from the Panama Papers
Less than a month after the release of the Panama Papers, crown dependencies are bracing themselves for another data leak.
It’s been announced the largest-ever release of information about secret offshore companies and the people behind them will be made public on May the ninth.
Based on data from the Panama Papers, it will include information about more than 200,000 companies, trusts, foundations and funds incorporated in 21 tax havens.
Chief Minister Allan Bell says the latest release by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists will be explored by Manx government officers.
