Steam Packet vessel Ben-my-Chree came under fire at yesterday's sitting
Is the Ben-my-Chree reduced to travelling at seven knots because she needs up-to-date controls on her emission levels?
Is she going to be chartered out to other Crown Dependencies?
Those were some of the questions fielded by Treasury Minister Alex Allinson in the House of Keys yesterday (13 February).
Dr Allinson says the whole future shape of the Steam Packet Company's fleet is being looked into, and some of the more technical claims made in the house will need to be investigated further, before he can provide context.
But he says any action needs to take the Sea Services Agreement into consideration.
