Approval sought for £180K scheme
The case for the refurbishment of forty properties in Willaston is to be put forward this afternoon (Wed)
Douglas Borough Council will hear evidence from the Housing Committee in a meeting at 2:30pm.
The Committee has already considered a report seeking approval for a £180,000 capital scheme in the estate.
It will aim to improve the condition of the properties, following the re-housing of tenants in new developments.
The proposal comes in addition to a ten million pound scheme to refurbish over 300 homes, which the Council agreed to in August.
