Man held one of UK's 'largest ever' collections
A Douglas man who had hundreds of thousands of indecent images of children on his computer has been further remanded in custody.
Martin Cleator, 44, admitted possessing what a UK police task force described as one of the largest caches of images it had ever inspected.
Investigators found them when they searched three computer hard drives.
The case has been adjourned until 15 May, and a social inquiry report will be prepared before sentencing.
The court heard Cleator had recently admitted seven further charges of possessing indecent images, and another one of distributing photos.
