41-year-old has previously denied the offences
A Douglas man who denies producing heroin to the Island, concealed in tubes of silicone, has been further remanded at the Isle of Man Prison.
Frank Harrison, of Brisbane Street, appeared at Douglas Courthouse via live video link to make an application for bail which was refused.
The 41-year-old is accused of being concerned in the production of the Class A drug, and possession of it with intent to supply, on or about 17 July.
It’s alleged the heroin had a street value of between £37,000 and £75,000.
Committal proceedings, where the case is elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery, will take place on 3 October.
Update: At Douglas Courthouse on 3 October the court was told committal had been delayed - it will now take place on 24 October instead.
