40-year-old accused of committing offence earlier this year
A Peel man who has been accused of rape has been further remanded at the Isle of Man Prison.
The 40-year-old can’t be named due to anonymity laws introduced by Manx politicians earlier this year.
He allegedly committed the offence – and one of assault by penetration – between 30 June and 1 August this year.
Committal proceedings, where the case is elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery, have taken place at Douglas Courthouse; he’ll next appear there on a date to be set.
