Firm hopes for Same Sex Marriage Bill
The Manx Rainbow Association says it's 'disappointed' at a bid to disrupt the legalisation of gay marriage on the Island.
There was some concern that a 2013 petition filed by religious campaigner Peter Murcott had prevented the Marriage and Civil Partnership Amendment Bill receiving Royal Ascent.
The matter is due before the UK's Privy Council next week, with the expectation of it being given the seal of approval.
Lee Vorster from the Rainbow Association says he still has faith in the Bill.
