Application to vary its licence area has been approved
People attending The Gaiety Theatre will soon be able to drink alcohol while watching a show.
VillaGaiety's had its application to vary its licence area approved by the Isle of Man Licensing Court.
Almost 1,200 people responded to a survey asking for people's thoughts on the move.

The venue's now carrying out preparatory work so that alcoholic drinks can be consumed in the auditorium from February next year.
The bars will still be closed during theatre performances and staff will monitor the welfare of all audience members.
