Amber weather warning issued
Tonight's (12 Sep) evening Steam Packet sailing from Douglas to Heysham, and the overnight return, have been cancelled due to forecasted adverse weather conditions.
Earlier today Ronaldsway Met Office issued an amber weather warning - forecasters warned of gale force winds which could reach up to 50 miles per hour.
They say the Island could also face localised flooding with heavy rain from late this afternoon.
The Steam Packet are asking those affected by the cancellation to contact their reservations team on 01624 661661 to re-arrange travel.
