
The Steam Packet Company says many of tomorrow’s planned sailings have been called off in the face of severe gales.
Forecasters at the Met Office at Ronaldsway say Easterly winds may hit force 9 in the morning, with force eight gales later in the day.
The Ben-my-Chree’s trips to Heysham and back this evening and tomorrow morning have both been cancelled, and her sailings later in the day may also be scrapped. An announcement is expected at 7 o’clock tomorrow morning.
The Manannan’s morning sailing to Liverpool is cancelled, along with her return voyage. The fastcraft’s master will make a decision on later trips at 11am.
