Garff Commissioners says windfarm process has been 'almost impossible' responsibility

It comes as the local authority submits its final response to the examination panel

Garff Commissioners says it's been 'almost impossible' to represent residents during the windfarm process over the last year.

In its final letter to the examination panel the local authority says it has been on the 'backfoot' due to how it's been carried out.

It's also confirmed that the cost of hours between officers and commissioners who worked on the case has amounted to about £20,000 - but this won't be claimed back.

Commissioner Marinda Fargher says she has had 'lots of sleepless nights' during the process but feels the board has done its best for residents.
