Call issued for photographic evidence
Garff Commissioners have issued a call for photographic evidence, which indicates the problems that contributed to the flooding in Laxey Valley.
The local authority says the images it receives from residents will be used in a display, to be presented at an emergency meeting about the issue tomorrow evening.
If you have any images you feel illustrate 'significant aspects of the situation', you're asked to email admin@garff.im.
The new Captain of the Parish of Lonan, Stephen Carter, will chair the meeting, with representatives from Manx Utilities, as well as the government departments and agencies responsible for river management, flood management, highway maintenance, and land maintenance.
