OFT Chair hopes they don't have to resume from then
The 'short pause' in gas disconnections for Isle of Man customers in debt is currently due to end in the second week of January.
That's according to the Chair of the Office of Fair Trading who's given an update on the issue in Tynwald this morning.
Tim Glover is hopeful that disconnections don't have to resume next month and reiterated that any customer in need of assistance should contact the OFT for assistance.
He was also asked by Onchan MHK Rob Callister about what advice will be issued around the situation over the Christmas period:
