Climate change lead says it could damage global reputation
Extracting gas from the Isle of Man's territorial waters could damage the Island's reputation globally.
That's the view of the chair of the Climate Change Transformation Board who says it's a 'no-no' from a climate change perspective.
Garff MHK Daphne Caine recently attended COP26 in Glasgow.
She says whilst the ultimate decision may be 'above her pay grade' she doesn't think any existing proposals should come to fruition.
