'We'll match rebate if Manx Gas does' says Harmer
Manx Gas customers will now be temporarily protected from any prices rises.
Tynwald has agreed to freeze tariffs while energy regulator CURA, or the Communications and Utilities Regulatory Authority, looks to develop a new pricing system.
The new structure will be imposed on Manx Gas after attempts to reach a voluntary replacement to the 2015 deal were scrapped earlier this year.
Questions remain over whether a promised rebate on 2020 bills will be paid.
Policy and Reform Minister Ray Harmer says government will honour it's side of the bargain if Manx Gas does:

£41K spent on encouraging people to shop local
Baton of Hope to come back to Isle of Man
CoC 'keen' for continuity of sidecar racing at TT
