Social distancing indoors advised, not enforced
The chief minister has admitted new regulations on social gatherings - which come into effect tomorrow - can't be policed.
Speaking at yesterday's media briefing, Howard Quayle said there's an element of trust involved, and ultimately it's down to individuals' judgement:
From tomorrow, gatherings of up to ten people outdoors will be allowed.
The two-metre social distancing measure must be maintained for outside visits.
A maximum of two people, from the same household, will also be able to go into other households.
There is no guidance on social distancing in these circumstances but people are asked to think carefully about how they manage such gatherings.
The chief minister said "think before you hug".
