No money for Laxey Wheel repairs concerns MNH trustee
Former politician and current trustee of Manx National Heritage Phil Gawne has criticised government for a lack of support for the Island's culture.
One example he mentioned during the Mannin Line programme was the deteriorating condition of the Laxey Wheel which is not turning at the moment.
Mr Gawne says it's deeply concerning Treasury is choosing "short term gain for long term pain":
