£719,000 over budget
Government catering services overspent by £719,000 as of the end of October this year.
The figures were given in Keys this morning by Health Department member Jason Moorhouse, following a question from Ayre and Michael member Tim Baker on the current financial performance of the Catering Shared Services.
Mr Moorhouse told the House that most of that loss was at Nobles Hospital.
The House heard the department was now looking to return Primary School catering, the NSC and UCM to the Department of Education, Sport and Culture before the end of the financial year.
