Support will be available to those considering their next steps
Hundreds of students on the Isle of Man will receive their GCSE results today (21 August).
Support will be available to those considering their next steps – whether that be taking up further education or entering employment.
Last year the overall pass rate for Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications was 98 per cent.
That means the vast majority scored an IGCSE/ GCSE result between A*-G or the equivalent.
The number of pupils obtaining an A*-C grade increased one per cent on last year at 73 per cent.
Meanwhile, those earning the highest marks between A*-A decreased a percentage point to 20 per cent.
