Vessel got into difficulty one mile east of Ramsey
A gearbox failure left a boat stricken one mile outside Ramsey Harbour.
Ramsey lifeboat and coastguard was called out to assist the 8-metre day boat yesterday morning.
The RNLI established a tow and brought the vessel back to the shore, with the lifeboat returning to the station just over half an hour after being launched.
