Pub landlord encourages other struggling businesses to apply
A local business says the Manx Solidarity Fund has helped it 'thrive rather than just survive' the pandemic.
The Ginger Hall in Sulby is one of many establishments hit hard by recent events, but has benefited from the charity which was set up at the beginning of the crisis.
Ben Sowrey, the pub's landlord, was initially reluctant to apply for funding.
He says he wouldn't have, if he wasn't was urged to do so by a friend:
