The Coroner of Inquests recorded a narrative verdict
An inquest has heard a fisherman from Glen Maye had been trying to turn his life around and was looking to the future, before his death.
Twenty-nine-year-old Adam Baker had been receiving therapy for drug addiction and according to his parents, was making progress.
The court heard Mr Baker had a chest infection at the time of his death, with evidence of liquid in his lungs.
Coroner of Inquests John Needham recorded a narrative verdict, saying Mr Baker died in his sleep from respiratory depression due to a combination of drug use and bronchial pneumonia.
He added Mr Baker had been trying to put aside his addictions and was looking to the future.
Mr Needham offered his sincerest condolences, saying no-one was expecting this and he would not have suffered.
