Great North Air Ambulance team responded within half an hour
A patient has been airlifted to the UK following an incident near Glen Maye yesterday (19 April).
The Great North Air Ambulance team has confirmed the patient has gone off Island for treatment at the closest major trauma unit.
They were called out at 9:25am and arrived on-Island within half an hour.
