Island-based company reflects on the last 12 months
An Island-based investment company suggests a slowdown in the global economy and attracting new clients as two of the challenging areas the finance industry has faced in the last 12 months.
Old Mutual International, based in Onchan, has been reflecting on 2019 as the year draws to a close.
New regulations like MiFid - the EU's transparency laws - and the Island's new Conduct of Business Code are now being bedded in.
