Wants to see focus on issues Island's facing now
A backbencher says the chief minister was talking about a "fantasy isle" in his Economic Strategy's annual report.
Six MHKs voted against it after a debate in Tynwald lasting over an hour and a half.
Four of them were the Island's southern MHKs, in protest of plans to close the Southern Swimming Pool.
Chief Minister Alfred Cannan said Tynwald was at risk of falling victim to political 'paralysis by analysis’.
But Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Tim Glover says government's focus needs to be closer to home:
