Charity 'continuing conversations' with Manx Care
The Great North Air Ambulance Service has thanked the people of the Isle of Man for their 'support' amidst ongoing negotiations with Manx Care.
It's after the future of the charity's links to the Island were called into question.
Manx Care has asked GNAAS to increase its charitable contributions in line with its UK funding model to meet the cost of its retainer fee.
The charity says it 'truly appreciates the lovely comments and best wishes' and confirmed it is 'continuing conversations' with the healthcare body.
In a post on social media it said: "We wanted to say a thank you to all for your support regarding the ongoing negotiations with Manx Care regarding the funding of our service.
"We truly appreciate the lovely comments and best wishes.
"We are in continuing conversations with Manx Care about the life-saving service we deliver and have not yet concluded our talks but we hope for a positive outcome."
