Something for everyone on Tynwald Day
Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan says everybody has a good reason to attend tomorrow’s national day celebrations in St John’s.
Tynwald Day sees parliament sitting in the open-air on Tynwald Hill, with laws promulgated in English and Manx – and a chance to directly present a petition to the court about issues people feel are important.
Mr Rodan says he can’t understand why some people have never been to experience the formal ceremony and the nearby fair.
And he’s urging everyone to go along and see the proceedings:
