Chief minister cites national AI office
The chief minister says it was a 'privilege' to attend the British-Irish Council (BIC) Summit on behalf of the Isle of Man.
Held last week in Wales, the meeting saw talks centre on 'unlocking the potential of the creatives industries'.
Alfred Cannan told Manx Radio his conversations with other leaders from Britain, Ireland and the Crown Dependencies centred on creative projects to the future of renewable energy.
But a concern for many creatives worldwide is, of course, the rise of artificial intelligence.
Mr Cannan says the challenges around AI are complex, but government is trying to tackle them:
