500 homes would need to be built each year until 2041 says chair of Housing and Communities Board
Government is 'already behind' on its housing commitments laid out in the chief minister's Economic Strategy.
In the plans, Alfred Cannan detailed his ambition to increase the population by 15,000 to 100,000 by the year 2037.
But, earlier this year, the Objective Assessment of Housing Need report was published, showing government was already behind on its goals.
Chair of the Housing and Communities Board David Ashford says 500 homes need to be built every year until 2041 to meet the higher target:
