Due to interest in Enterprise Development Fund
Chief Minister Howard Quayle has called on government to overhaul the Island's planning system, in order to stimulate business growth.
He was speaking on the back of figures which revealed over 100 applications have been made to government's Enterprise Development Fund - many from off-Island - since its inception in 2015.
A review of the planning system last year called on Tynwald to 'de-politicise' the process.
Mr Quayle believes a simpler, fairer system would benefit the economy:

Consultation open on plans to formally recognise the heritage of Douglas Head
Drop-in session to support Isle of Man charities
Fundraiser to keep St John Ambulance emergency fleet on the road
Ayre and Michael MHKs request meeting with commissioners over rates
Data breach impact rises sharply as cyber incidents affect thousands on Isle of Man
