Financial assistance 'under consideration'
People who want to host Ukrainian refugees are being invited to register via the new Isle of Man Homes for Ukraine Scheme.
Government says it's not following the UK approach and is now undertaking an information gathering exercise to determine the level of support on offer.
Phase one will allow sponsors to bring named individuals and their immediate family members to the Isle of Man.
People wanting to be sponsors - who do not know anyone personally fleeing Ukraine - are also asked to register their interest.
The cabinet office says potential financial assistance for hosts is under consideration.
