No dateline for Sexual Offences Referral Unit
The acting Home Affairs Minister says finding a better way to help the victims of alleged sexual abuse is a priority in his Department.
Alex Allinson says it's not possible to say if or when a Sexual Offences Referral Unit will be created but the emphasis is to find answers as soon as possible.
The subject and the effect of such crimes are having on Manx society has been highlighted in the Chief Constable's annual report.
Dr Allison says the Chief Constable has identified a clear problem.
