£50,000 for Burundi refugees
The Isle of Man Government is playing its part in helping victims of an African conflict.
Fifty-thousand pounds will be provided by the International Development Committee to charities helping people in Burundi.
Clashes between government supporters and the opposition have resulted in many seeking refuge in neighbouring countries.
Action Aid and Medair UK will split the money to offer water, healthcare and emergency shelters to those in need.
