Negotiations have been ongoing with unions Prospect and Unite
The government has announced a six percent pay award will be given to all staff employed by the Public Services Commission.
It comes just hours after members of the NASUWT teaching union announced multiple strike dates on the Isle of Man, in an escalation of a dispute over pay, workload and working practices.
Negotiations with unions Prospect and Unite have been ongoing, which will now see civil servants, manual and craft workers - such as aircraft electricians and traffic wardens - and educational support staff among those receiving the increase.
