The Chief Minister says the Sefton Group bailout is one aspect of a much larger picture.
Alan Bell says the G8 is meeting in June and the top issue they're dealing with is tax evasion.
From the summit, he expects there to be greater pressure on the Isle of Man.
With that economic backdrop, he says it would be extremely damaging if the Sefton Group collapsed:
