Students can expect to earn the living wage whilst carrying out a project
Students in their final years at university will have the chance to undertake an eight week placement and earn the living wage in the process.
The Department of Enterprise is calling on local businesses to put their names forward to host students working on an industry standard project.
The Step programme is due to restart after being suspended in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Minister Tim Johnston told Manx Radio he hopes this will enable government to achieve it's economic strategy:
