Dog-walkers are being issued a ‘friendly reminder’ to keep furry friends on leads on public rights of way.
The Department of Infrastructure says loose canines can distress sheep and other livestock – even after lambing season - and pose risks to wildlife and others around them.
They’re urging residents not to wander across fields and ‘respect’ the designated path.
