Treasury Minister announced EU departure fund in Tuesday's Budget
A new million pound fund set aside for Brexit will help to keep the Manx interest high on Britain's agenda.
That's according to the Treasury Minister, Alfred Cannan.
The announcement came as part of Tuesday's budget statement - it's been called the 'first step' in rebalancing the Island's finances.
Ministers have been attending regular meetings with MPs and overseas government representatives since last June's referendum.
However, it's still largely unclear how the Island's position will change when the UK leaves the European Union.
Mr Cannan hopes that the new fund will help as things become more apparent:
