Interest sought for Manx Housing First Support Service
Government is aiming to commission emergency housing in the east of the Island for anyone finding themselves homeless.
It wants to gather 'expressions of interest' from organisations which may be able to help provide up to 30 spaces.
In this initiative government looks to be asking anyone with the capacity to develop emergency housing to come forward.
The 30 spaces are for short term accommodation and would include a daytime drop-in service providing shelter and food.
Officially dubbed the Manx Housing First Support Service, it will also create around 20 further spaces across a range of properties and locations for short to medium term cases.
Anyone wanting to get involved will need to register on the government's procurement portal by the 26 October.
