Charity calls for broader legislation on single-use items
Conservationists have called on politicians to take a 'bolder stance' on single-use plastics on the Island.
The Manx Wildlife Trust says it welcomes a move to cut the material used within government - but insists more needs to be done.
Tynwald this month approved a plan which will see the number of disposable items used at official events and within departments reduced where possible.
The charity says it would like to see 'more far-reaching' legislation introduced, to cut the amount of plastic waste on the Island.
