New system to measure effectiveness announced
The current Manx government's progress over the next four years will be measured by a brand new set of benchmarks, subject to Tynwald approval.
'Delivering the Programme for Government' will go before the court later this month.
Boosting people's earnings, reducing government structural deficit and job creation are its three main aims.
The document also lists milestones for more than 90 actions, setting deadlines for the completion of targets to do with the likes of health, education, infrastructure, the economy and more.
With these being made public, it'll mean people will be able to judge the government's performance for themselves.
Chief Minister Howard Quayle says many of the objectives straddle two or more departments, meaning they have to collaborate:
