Sessions taking place on 7 and 8 November
An assurance has been given by Manx Care that all GP practices will remain open during two days of General Practitioner training sessions on 7 and 8 November.
The health body says it's arranging GP attendances at the training sessions, whilst ensuring as little disruption as possible to patients.
The session on 7 November commences at 5pm, so the Manx Emergency Doctor Service will open at the same time - an hour earlier than usual.
MEDS won't be able to make any routine appointments, request test results or order repeat prescriptions - all such requests will have to wait until your GP practice is open again.
The training session on 8 November will take place in the afternoon and all GP surgeries will remain open, with any cancellations for patients kept to a minimum.
