The Island's GPs gather this week for their latest brainstorming session.
Thursday'sĀ gathering will be the third involving all Island family doctors, with the aim of improving services to patients and helping cut hospital waiting lists.
GPs says the meetings have proved invaluable as a forum to share experience and ideas.
Surgeries will remain open for simply queries, to book appointments and handle repeat prescriptions.
Cover for urgent appointments and home visits will be provided centrally by locum and retired GPs.
Dr Alex Allinson represents GPs on the Isle of Man Medical Association.
He says two contrasting topics will be discussed:

Mountain Road closure extended by additional 24 hours
