An MHK says he will campaign for more support to help people renovate dilapidated properties on the Isle of Man.
Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas has told Manx Radio he believes a grant system is needed.
The last census in 2021 revealed there are around 5,000 empty buildings on the Island.
Chris Thomas – who was the former chair of the Housing and Communities Board - also claims government has a ‘vision’ that people want to live in apartments which he doesn’t believe is true:
