Police search out witnesses to vandalism
Police officers have expressed 'anger and sadness' after an act of theft in the west of the Island.
It's after a woman reported that flowers and treasured ornaments had been taken from her late husband's grave in Peel Cemetery.
A nearby memorial bench at The Raggatt was also vandalised.
In a statement, the widow said it was not the first time she had been targeted - and while the items are 'replaceable', the theft has dealt her a 'horrible blow'.
Officers are appealing for any information, and hope a resolution to the matter will help her 'come to terms with what has happened'.
You can contact Peel police station on 842208.
