On-island branch generates great interest
A local branch of a blood cancer support group set up some 15 months ago is meeting again later this month (Oct )
Regional Development Manager for Lymphoma Action Karen Bonell organised the on-Island branch in July 2017 when she realised that many patients here had to travel to Liverpool for treatment.
Karen says the sessions are open to all and have generated more interest on the Island than she expected.
The next meeting again is at 5.30 on Wednesday 17th October at Manx Cancer Help in the Lisa Lowe Centre, on Ballafletcher Road. If you want to have an informal chat with Karen beforehand you can ring her on 07710 393 891.
