Twenty three trekkers for Junior Achievement IoM
A group of Manx walkers have raised more than £14,000 for a local charity, through a sponsored trek along the Great Wall of China.
Twenty-three took part in the five-day challenge, to raise funds for Junior Achievement Isle of Man.
Among the party was the charity's chief executive Sue Cook, who commented that the physical demands of the trek were extremely challenging - including steep gradients, uneven steps and two-foot wide pathways with sheer drops either side.
A further expedition has been organised, this time to Vietnam, in October 2019 - for more information, go to www.jaiom.im.
